Unlike NVIDIA and AMD GPUs where Resizable BAR is a nice bonus, Intel Arc GPUs are designed from the ground up to require it. Without ReBAR, expect 30-50% lower performance and frequent crashes. - If your BIOS does not have ReBAR options, update your motherboard BIOS. Most motherboards from 2019 onward received ReBAR support via BIOS updates
- If your motherboard genuinely does not support ReBAR (very old boards), Intel Arc is not recommended for that system. The performance loss without ReBAR is severe
